Golf

Chimney Oaks features a world-class golf course. An 18 hole par 72 course, originally designed by PGA Professional Mark McCumber. There is a driving range and multiple practice putting greens. Our course is also used on the competition circuit for the North Georgia Junior Golf.

Our Golf Pro
Byron McCall is our PGA head professional. He brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is always happy to listen and help with your golf issues and he definitely insists on maintaining a high quality course.

Golf Clinics
Golf clinics are organized for ladies and men. Lessons can also be booked for any age group.

Outing & Golf Tournaments
Many in-house tournaments are run throughout the year. It is also possible to arrange a works or private social event.

Pro Shop
Visit our Pro Shop, discuss with them membership opportunities, lessons and upcoming events. Our team in the pro shop are all enthusiastic about golf and love to share stories with fellow golfers.

Leisure Facilities
Tennis and Pickleball courts are open all year round. Members and homeowners can arrange to use the courts, pool, or our fully equipped gym.

Community Events
Events are scheduled throughout the year. Past events have included Movies on the Green, Tailgating, Karaoke, Game Nights, Wine Tasting and BBQ's.

Creative Workshops and Classes
Creative classes and workshops are also scheduled. There have been painting, woodworking and candle making workshops. Also Dance classes, Yoga and water aerobics.

Need more to Do
Fish on one of our many lakes or stroll out with your dog. And to exercise or jog around the beautiful grounds is exhilarating.

The Cabana & Pool
This is a great meeting place for hot summer days and long summer evenings. Relax or swim laps in our Junior Olympic sized pool.

Hub of Social Activity
Oaks 148 Bar & Grill is a hub of social activity and a source of great food. Relax with a drink, get the latest news and sport updates or take in the views. Throughout the year we hold karaoke nights and other fun events.

The Lodge
Invite family and friends to share the lifestyle that you have chosen. The Lodge overlooks the driving range. It has 3 separate apartments that can accommodate groups from 2 from 12 guests.

More Vacation Rentals
It is in our plans to build more lodgings. This will allow us to offer more vacation rentals and accommodation to guests who are either visiting or attending events . We look forward to seeing you, and sharing all we have to offer.

Out & About
Out and About is getting a brief mention here, only because we are a desirable place to live. Part of that desirability is our location. From here, there is so much to do and so much to see.
